Crowd control skills and the ability to tell the band students "It looks great on you!" or "No, you need a bigger/smaller size" are invaluable requirements for this job. People with the ability to sew and/or make minor repairs are in high demand and will be treated with the utmost respect by the rest of the band boosters! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ |

The committee is responsible for collecting money and distributing tickets for the band banquet, ordering corsages and boutonnieres, and providing parting gifts for the senior band students. Occasionally other events occur in a school year (e.g. hosting the State Band finals), that require providing meals/refreshments to judges or other small groups of people. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ |
| Band Truck/Pit Crew Chair: Bob Franko Email: rfranko@cox.net Volunteers are responsible for packing up and transporting the bands percussion instruments, field commander's stands for every performance of the marching band (football games, band shows and competitions) and loading all the items on the schools band truck for all away events. | VideoRecording Chair: Al Bratnick. Email: This committee is comprised of volunteers willing to video record band performances. Please note that there are certain state adjudicated events where recording is not allowed. This group must have the director’s approval before recording any event that involves the band students. The band director finds these recordings to be a valuable learning tool for the class. Some of the recordings may be mass produced for sale by the band boosters at a nominal profit. | Phone/Email Chain Chair: Anne Semple Email: asemple@yahoo.com This committee is made up of volunteers who mass distribute news to the band parents by telephone or email. This may include messages from the band director or news from any one of the other band committees. It requires daily monitoring of the booster email address as well as your own personal email address. Messages are sent on a regular weekly basis as the band season progresses.
